Today is SFFpit on Twitter - a pitching event reserved for Science Fiction and Fantasy writers.
Agents and publishers get to see our 250-character pitches. If the post receives a ? from one of them, it means they liked it and want to see more. Sometimes they ask you to submit the first ten pages, or a few chapters of your MS (manuscript) and synopsis. If they like what they see, further request will proceed. Last December, I caught a publisher's eye. She asked for my synopsis and the first few chapters. I was excited to get the MS request in January 2022, but it turned into a rejection. On the upside, the editor was supper nice; she gave me tips on improving. So I did. I've been querying my fantasy book "Hunted in Huntstown" since last November, and it would be so cool to get a ? from an agent, big house editor, or publisher. I have three different pitches, and below is one of them.
What do you think? Share on Twitter or give me ? below.
Thanks for participating. ?
